Prior to being elected as co-president, David served two years as the VP of Programming and one year as a member of the board of directors for BAO, as well as one year as a board member of the SU Alumni Club of Chicago. As a Newhouse (’11) graduate with a degree in Magazine Journalism, David followed a production path after school, formerly working at The Rachael Ray Show and 120 Sports. While a student, he could usually be found on press row at various sporting events with credentials that included CitrusTV, Rivals.com, Newshouse.com, The Daily Orange, and more.

Supreet Kaur graduated from Syracuse in 2015 with a BS in Information Technology Management and with a minor in finance. During her time at Syracuse she was involved with peer advising, student association, the international relations club and Sigma Delta Tau. She also studied abroad in Hong Kong during her junior year and had the opportunity to intern in TMT law at Mayer Brown JSM while abroad. Currently she is a business consultant for Ernst and Young.

Jeremy currently works as a client services analyst at Visible World, a TV advertising platform that is under the Comcast umbrella. At Syracuse, he worked as a content producer for Citrus TV and as an account executive on the award-winning Stupid Drink campaign for The NewHouse Agency. Sulit also participated in a summer abroad program in London, where he took an eye-opening course on cross-cultural advertising. He believes that his experience at Syracuse has played a large role in making him who he is today and as First Vice President, he is proud to represent the Orange.
Mathew Stachnik – Treasurer

Prior to attending Syracuse University Mathew fenced competitively for 6 years. He graduated from the Whitman School of Management with a BS in Finance in May 2013. During his education at Syracuse he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity where he was the financial chair and participated in many community service oriented events including adopt a highway for the clean up of Comstock ave and volunteering at the boys and girls club. During his junior year, Mathew had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain, where he significantly improved his proficiency of his third language and developed. Mathew currently works as a financial analyst at JPMorgan for the financing desk as part of the fixed income business. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and catching up with friends. In the future he hopes to see as much of the world as he can and potentially establish his own business.

David is a Expert Services Specialist at Oracle, where he works on cross channel marketing campaigns for the worlds largest brands. Prior to graduating with both his Bachelor’s (iSchool & Whitman, 2011) and Master’s (iSchool, 2012) David was always busy at SU! For all four years of his undergrad, David worked for SIDEARM Sports, where be built and ran the Streaming Media department. Doing this enabled him to sit courtside & in the press box for all basketball and football games where he managed the live stats, live video & photos for SUAthletics’s Orange All-Access. As a Master’s student, David organized the #140cuse Conference (the first ever #140 conference held on a college campus) for over 700 attendees; as well as managed the technology aboard StarshipNEXIS, a research lab at the iSchool. Throughout his time at ‘Cuse, David participated in and organized the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and was also named 2011 iSchool Class Marshal. Even if it means visiting enemy territory (like Georgetown or Villanova), David is always up for cheering on the Orange, GO ‘CUSE!
Charlotte Lipman – Co-Vice President of Marketing

Charlotte graduated from Syracuse University in 2013 with a B.S. in Television/Radio/Film from Newhouse. While at Syracuse, Charlotte was Promotions Manager at Orange Television Network and served on the executive board of the Alpha chapter of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Charlotte is currently Research Manager at NY-based firm MyersBizNet where she manages b2b market research and content development for MediaVillage.com, servicing clients in the media industry. A born and raised New Yorker, Charlotte loves museums, theater and beating Duke.

Eddie graduated from Newhouse in 2011 with a BS in TRF and a minor in European History. Worked as an ophthalmic technician for 4 years and am currently employed as a baker and manager at Levain Bakery.
Sara Wilson – Co-Vice President of Programming
Sara Wilson graduated from SU in 2011 with major in public policy and minor in public health. After college, she worked with the FAO Schwarz Foundation in corporate engagement and transitioned onto work for Columbia University in the Office of the President. Sara currently works at Columbia University as an education coordinator in the School of Physicians and Surgeons. As a SU alumni and supporter, she is excited to be an orange leader.

Kevin currently works as an environmental engineering manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in NYC working on various projects such as-Second Ave Subway Project and LaGuardia Redevelopment projects. He Graduated in 1989 with dual B.S degrees in Civil Engineering and Geology. He looks forward to supporting Big Apple Orange help alumni in the NY Metro area from across the decades reconnect and support S.U. Kevin is an advid S.U. basketball fan since the days of Pearl.

Originally from Long Island, Brad graduated from Syracuse in 2014, not leaving an ounce of Orange pride behind as he returned home. While at SU he spent several years as the face of Otto’s Army, the official Orange student section. Brad also held leadership positions across campus, including a tenure as General Manager of CitrusTV, and serving on the Lead Team of the University 100 student ambassadors. Since graduation he has worked in several industries, including TV production and social advertising & analytics. Brad currently serves as a Brand Activation Manager for Anheuser Busch’s High End division.

Liza currently works at The Martin Agency with their digital media team. Her two oldest brothers went to Syracuse. She lifeguarded at Syracuse University pools and also helped manage the women’s soccer team her senior year. She was Scholarship Chair for sigma delta tau. Liza studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. She enjoys cooking, napping, cheering on the Orange, and is looking forward to connecting with more ‘Cuse alumni.
Claudia Garib – Secretary

Born and raised in New York City, Claudia is a recent graduate who’s unique international experience makes her passionate about higher education and acclimating all students from near and far to the bustling life of the concrete jungle. Her passions are making new friends, learning languages and cultures, and building computers.
Fabien Levy – Board Member

Fabien is a professional political operative, having spent his time since leaving The Hill traveling around the country working on multiple political campaigns. In the last few years, Fabien has worked on the campaigns of U.S. Senators Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, and Kay Hagan; on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s presidential race in 9 different states; and U.S. Congresswoman Kathy Hochul’s special election in Western New York (an SU alum). In 2012, Fabien joined President Obama’s Administration and currently serves as the Press Secretary at the U.S. Department and Health and Human Services, where he acts as a spokesman for the Affordable Care Act and coordinates press events around the nation for U.S. Cabinet Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Fabien is now in his fourth year with BAO, and previously served as Vice President of Marketing for the club.
Lauren Levy – Board Member

Lauren is an Art Director at The Food Group, a creative food and beverage advertising agency. Prior to that, she did creative work for a non-profit public health agency called The Monday Campaigns, and a youth marketing agency called UPROAR!@DDB. During her four years at SU, Lauren worked at the Office of Alumni Relations where she learned about alumni events and designed for many on-campus events such as Orange Central and National Orange Day. This is her 6th year on the BAO board, past positions include: co-president, ex-officio on the board of directors, vice president for 2 terms and now back on the board of directors (2nd term). She is extremely excited to stay connected to the family she has made within the orange community and looks forward to it growing!
Harris Sokoloff – Board Member

Harris is a Project Manager with H&L Electric. His fun fact (based off of all the questions he gets from his friends) is that he worked in Dubai for five weeks, working on the engineering aspect of the opening of the world’s largest mall. While at Syracuse, Harris was committee chair for Homecoming and Winter Carnival and now wants to bring that same school spirit and fun to NYC. Previously he served as Co-President of the Big Apple Orange.

Tracey graduated with her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Syracuse. She is currently a speech-language pathologist in the New York City Department of Education. During her time at SU, Tracey was an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Orange Pulse Dance Troupe, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life committee. Tracey is a huge ‘Cuse basketball fan and loves to support the Orange here in the city! She is looking forward to being a part of the BAO board as a way to stay involved and connected with her Syracuse family. GO ORANGE!
Shadé Akande – Board Member

Shadé is the Founder & CEO of Squad Square, Inc. and while at SU she was a member of community service based organizations focused on mentoring, youth education & access; she attended nearly every men’s basketball game; and she sported a silver winter coat that she designed for the occasional snowy Syracuse days. She was also a board member with the Atlanta SU Alumni group during her years in Georgia. Shadé moved back to NYC from the Bay Area where she worked at Google then was the Head of Talent Acquisition & Management for Proteus Digital Health. As a huge SU fan, supporter and alum she’s honored & excited (see photo to be a part of the BAO Board.
